Sins of the flesh are sins of the spirit; to be a sin, the action must involve the will. It's somewhat of a false dichotomy to try to place sins in one of those "flesh" or "spirit" categories.
I don't watch all that much of the Sopranos, and it is extremely romanticized. But Doesnt Tony soprano have some sort of moral code. Would he blow up the World trade Center, meaning kill thousands of random people to stay out of jail?
