Y is this gruesome... After my mom passed I found it really gruesome that I got a call on how to hack her up and moving to a different facility after, then to another one. Without knowing if that was even mom and trusting it was all onist. Would much rather just know her body was sent to the right place and honored the right way... Also not like I was going to stand around and cook marshmallows like the movies.. It should be legal to do with your loved ones remains to honor them and the family any way they want to..... And the reason we can't is because of crooked people using outside sources to start with.. Not because the family took care of remains.. It should be regulated at the most documented sign and do as should be done.. Buried on the land of the family. In any proper way they choose.
Thanks for writing this. I did not realize there was something called the 'progressive era'. That was enlightening to me. I think has living standards have been rising since the beginning of the industrial revolution, there are more people with free time, and this gives busy-body types free-reign to get busy, too often to our detriment. At this point, living standards are starting to drop, so you can expect more authoritarianism.
