The Russophobia makes sense, but saying that Sinophobia is the same does not.
Russia is no longer the USSR, but China is Mao on steroids.
Sure, a more refined, wiser Mao, it conned the West into thinking that if it became the Factory of the World all would be well.
Instead, any libertarian, any genuine liberal, any genuine democracy lover should be very afraid of a world where China dominates ... right now it is suppressing the freedom of individuals on a scale that has no historical equivalent in numbers.
The USA and its conspiracies during the Obama administrations arguably are the most culpable in the tragedy of Ukraine.
Regarding China, Western capitalists looking for low cost production are to blame.
The genuine free market is the free market, the default economic manifestation of a libertarian society or the same rose by any other name.
Capitalism is based on markets, but very rarely on genuine free markets, in which case such an instance of capitalism is the libertarian rose by another name.
Libertarians do not need to hang the albatross of capitalism around their necks, the concept and the phrase "free market" precedes the term "capitalism" by many decades.
Neither Adam Smith nor Bastiat used the word capitalism, as yet not invented, only the term free market.
