I’ll be heading to our local library to pick it up. I retired just six weeks ago. I currently have two books started. I read a lot years ago, but as you know life gets busy. I’m loving my freedom. Each day is an adventure for me, it’s extraordinary and exhilarating! Reading gives me an excuse to actually sit down for an hour! Thanks for the recommendation!!

I expect you'll like it. The book is long but moves rapidly. Enjoy!

Started reading this. I don't know if I'll finish. So far just a trashy story about trashy people.

I’ve meant to read it. Armies of the Night is very good. I purchased two used Mailer books years ago. One was Ancient Evenings and the other The Executioners Song(I did like the movie). Ancient Evenings is so bad , I gave up on Mailer ( ok I’d also read part of An American Dream- real bad movie with Stuart Whitman).
