Note any pattern to the personal lives of Leftist philosophers and intellectuals? Am I crazy or does the ugliness go all the way to the bone?

Hilariously banal attempt at a character assassination, from a book by a crazed religious nut-job non the less, all it takes is a quick glance at Wikipedia to see that Marx loved his father and his father his son. Perhaps if your readers were more quick witted they would have noticed this passage from the letter that you directly link to:

"But I can only propose, advise. You have outgrown me; in this matter you are in general superior to me, so I must leave it to you to decide as you will."

Character assassination's aside, these are simply ad-hominem's by people clearly not gifted or curious enough to actually engage with the ideas Marx presented in his numerous books, which have nothing to do with his personality, this is a clearly established tradition of any decent good-willed academic.

Perhaps you are all ready to throw out Plato and subsequently his entire influence on the western philosophical tradition of the last 2000+ years because he was a pederast?

This is incredible - had no idea he was himself such a miserable soul. Feels apt given the poison and misery his ideas have spread through the world, but that he personally caused so much unhappiness for others is shocking! Also the fashionable attack on family life from the left - witness increasing screeds against marriage and nuclear family- makes a lot more sense now. The CCP has ofc been on to it forever!
