You remember the Clinton nonsense about the age of big government being over? Well it’s come roaring back to such a degree that you can’t even talk about market economics in the media. You read endless scorn for neo- liberalism , whatever that might be from right and left. Even writers I admire can’t stop pouring scorn on free market thinking. It gets ridiculous. And of course, the people who appear on TV or write on the internet or newspapers by and large have no comprehension of even basic economics even when they have Oxford and Harvard degrees. What’s worse is they don’t care. When I listen to them discuss inflation or some brilliant spending plan from Biden, my head almost does a Linda Blair Exorcist full spin. What they care about is what’s”right “. That is taking other people’s money to finance whatever progressive fantasies strike their fancy at the moment. Now the biggie is climate change which must be stopped by de industrializing the West. We must also be in a sweat about something called inequality which is a cancer on society which can be cured by a wealth tax and confiscatory estate taxes and of course increasing income taxes on the “ rich “ anyone earning more than $50,000. With all the money from that the government then has it can override the foolish anti social whims of earners and spend endless sums on decarbonization, social housing, subsidized gender reassignment , “free “ medical care and the war dejour. Utopia follows!

I'd move to Argentina, but it would be inconvenient. I'd rather work to help the Milei's of the United States win.
