What makes George Soros an expert about what (he claims) are negative consequences of competition?? A bit rich (pun not intended) for a former aggressive money arbitrage trader. I tend to discount his opinions in general, as he sows discord around the world.
Without competition, there would be less incentive to perform at one's highest in their chosen field. There would be less incentive to innovate and bring out the best products or services that could be available on the market today.
And, really, without it, there would be no incentive for one to bring about the greatest version of themselves. In a way, whether we want to admit it or not, we're competing against the person we were yesterday, last week, last month, and even last year, and beyond.
This was a magnificent article, sir. (heartfelt applause)
Thank you for the kind words. It made my day.
