Force is a constant in the pages of history. But the ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuang Zhou was perhaps the first thinker to recognize that force is no way to build a harmonious society.
I first realised this as a student at varsity in the 70s, whilst learning to shoot rapids in a canoe and at the same time being exposed to free market theory in lectures ... hence my Substack "The Tao Of Freedom" https://thetaooffreedom.substack.com/ ... like one must work with the flow of water to shoot a rapid so too the free market ... go against the grain and all sorts of unexpected and undesirable outcomes result ... work with the nature of the phenomenon and the outcomes are positive ... good to have intersected with you ... :)
