It feels as though Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit should accompany readings of this post, especially that first chart, where the whole song could be played.

It’s the emergency, we’re all going to die in the next couple of years routine , Greta Thunberg screaming about her future being taken from her,the insistence on adopting policies that made absolutely no sense and weren’t actually going to address the alleged problem, that really drives me crazy.

You’d think , maybe we could focus on problems and focus on actual solutions instead of just going off like a bunch of chicken littles . But that is exactly what has been going on for years. Fortunately, things aren’t as bad here as in Germany where the government has worked on systematically destroying that country’s economy.

I would likely place Reuters into a group that, regardless of what kind of numbers or evidence one presents to them, and other proponents that climate change is an 'emergency,' an 'existential threat,' or however they want to word it, will continually find ways to 'debunk' what is clear evidence against their worldview.

A friend of mine once said, "You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped," and this is the way I see outlets like Reuters, the Washington Post, the New York Times, etc. They'll spin any clear-cut evidence that contradicts their worldview as 'lacking evidence,' even when spinning it may be contradictory in and of itself.

And honestly, I don't think anyone can help that.
