Murray castigated Adam Smith as a plagiarist of his instructor, Francis Hutcheson, and a poor one at that, whose misunderstanding of the beginning of subjective theory of value helped Marx along the disastrously flawed labor theory of value.

Smith got some things wrong. He didn't grasp subjective value, but his ideas did influence the marg rev guys who did.
