Blaming people—whether they be Christians, transgender people, or gun-toting Republicans—for a heinous crime they had no part in is both unfair and dangerous.
Wonderful article Jon. What do we all, left and right and center have in common? The need to feel understood, but moreover our use of this tech that allows tweets like this. Sometimes I wonder how much power we can exercise in this blue-lit, dopamine spiked social media forum, rather than just walking away from the tech, and having a collective meditation for those children, all politics aside. There's no easy answer, but I also find that both sides like to ignore issues: the left - mental illness and prescription medications that many shooters are on. The right - guns as a necessary evil. Art, prayer, music, and meditation, and brainfood are in BIG demand.

"There's no easy answer"
