Good/interesting writeup. Thank you, Mr. Miltimore. I'm wanting to dig in to the details/links you provide. I'm convinced (and have been for about 4 years) that the 21st Century is unfolding as did the 20th (more or less) in all the horrific ways (we're perhaps 10-20 years ahead of where they were). We (the enlightened liberal democratic West -- ha ha) learned nothing -- or maybe "we" learned "the efficient totalitarian state" all-too well. I believe we are in a type of new Dark Age, though we can hope it will be short circuited and short-lived (and we can work/fight, as well as "hope").

The next "shining city on the hill" that will emerge (someday) will be the government/constitution that recognizes every person's absolute dominion over his own bodily systems. That no (purported) public-health or national-security rationale supersedes my unalienable breathing and immune systems. That the State has no right (privilege, prerogative) whatsoever to tell me to mask or vaccinate -- no authority to intervene in/override our bodies' complex Creation-bestowed functions. Clearly, that enlightened State is not the United States of America (and it probably never was, I'm sad to say as a formerly-patriotic/loyal but naive American). It's not Israel either -- and I say this as a longtime affirmative supporter of Israel whose blinders were removed as I witnessed their overbearing and un-enlightened nazzi-like response to covid.

P.S. It's "who has drunk" -- not "drank." Maybe it's a typo, not a grammar error.

P.S.S. I discovered you via your helpful/informative Wash Examiner article:

Nice to meet you. You're not the first person I've heard us that phrase "a new dark age". I do feel we're on the verge of something terrible. Time will tell, I guess. If you look through history, humans have always been a bit of a mess, I guess.

I appreciate the kind word on the article(s). I hope you enjoy the content.

I'll take it to the next level and say that rule of law and representative governance aren't cutting it versus "something terrible" (depending on the time frame, I suppose; eventually the system may respond/re-calibrate). Not every human is "a mess." If you reduce the macro to the personal, the individual has THE RIGHT not to be oppressed/suffocated. Self defense, intolerable, and all that stuff.

I'll leave it at that (self censoring) -- except to say that until the misguided and/or corrupt predators who prey under color of authority are responsive to due clarity & accountability (from "popul!sm"/"the mob"), we (governed human beings) are highly/demonstrably "vulnerable" (as the compassionate enlightened like to say) in real time. Their (the "ruling class's") fleeting concerns about boundaries and bullying (and autism, but I digress) were a fraud and/or a set-up.

P.S. I'll check out your Xwitter, too. Thanks for your reply and other positive contributions.

When we studied Aldous Huxley´s Brave New World in school, I never imagined that I would experience it during my lifetime. Scary!

Huxley and Orwell's dystopian prophesies diverged significantly, and history is proving Huxley correct. The pleasant and intoxicating drug he called "Soma" is turning out to be Cannabis.

Huxley was indeed a visionary, foreseeing our current cadre of global elites: “You will live in ze pods, eat ze bugs, own nothing and be happy.” Huxley was also right the our path to salvation lies via decentralization.
