I’ll permit myself to be a bit ironic, one might get the impression that none of these people have any idea of basic economics. Of course Kamala H’s father is an economist and a follower of Joan Robinson which might scare people if anyone knew the significance of that.
Government does not create jobs, only the private sector can do that. But government does have the power to stifle and inhibit jobs. Or it can provide an environment that has the effect of fostering and facilitating job creation in the private sector. One avenue is government self destruction, the other is not.
And it’s incredible the way presidential candidates babble about how they create jobs !
