These are all behavioral indications of alcoholism. They are indistinguishable. Alcoholism-fueled egomania impels the addict to have a need to wield power over others, which looks like narcissism.

70% of alcoholics with three months of recovery, all of whom had been diagnosed as having a "personality disorder," could no longer be so diagnosed. I suggest the percentage after three years might not be 100%, but it would be close (the studies were never done).

FYI, I have authored four books on behavioral indications of alcoholism. Related to narcissism, nearly all despots throughout history have been alcoholics (more recently, sometimes addicted to other psychoactive drugs). We can make a whole lot more sense of history, narcissism and current events if we understand the role of psychoactive drug addiction.
