May I suggest read stuff written from different perspectives including ones you disagree with. It helps keep you sharp. ( You know how boring it is to talk “ policy “ or politics or “ culture “ with someone who actually has no idea of what the other side thinks or why and doesn’t see any point in knowing).

In a way, it's one of my go-to's, often in the morning when I'm working out in the gym. While I'm not reading, per se, simply checking out headlines shown at the bottom of the progressive news outlets and catching some of what they're saying via the closed captioning can do the trick. Every now and again, I'll see what the Washington Post is saying - in my opinion the mother of all propaganda outlets at the moment.

Good, the strategies at the end are very good, I employ all of them and I feel I am largely an independent thinker. I HAVE been the victim of propaganda at previous times in my life and I think I have better learned to spot it.
