It sounds like the wrong interpretation of woke is philosophized here.

To be “woke” was something Black people told one another to avoid being cornered, beaten, lynched, etc during the Civil Rights Movement.

White privilege is real. Beavis & Butthead accept it’s real.

Finally, CRT is a specific master’s level class for people in law school. It examines how the law and the invention of race intersect. It’s not a required class, future attorneys planning on working on Equal Rights cases would likely take it. I have a friend who worked on the Comfort Women case (Japanese women forced into prostitution WW2) & she took the class.

You can look all these things up and find the truth.

Or you can keep believing people who are purposely feeding our society lies - changing the meaning of phrases to keep us divided so we can’t all see what they’re really doing - enriching themselves.

This includes many democrats who have stayed in their seats until they died. They’re all bought and paid for by corporations and won’t make way for people who would actually make things better for all of us.

The amount of money wasted on running for any office could fix huge social problems. It should be capped. It can be capped. We the people should have the same weight, the same voice, the same access to our Reps & senators as corporations & billionaires do.

In fact- we should have MORE voice.

Words of wisdom from a Gen X chick who watched the birth of billionaires.

Seriously. They bought the government on both sides. They got their taxes reduced to 70% by JFK, who asked congress for 65%.

Reagan reduced it to 50%. Then again during his term to 28%.

Today my husband and I pay 22%. We own a modest starter home, have only been able to afford one vacation in 13 years.

We are in our 50’s and have no kids.

I hope you hear this. I hope you pass it along. For an easy citation, attaching the history of the poor ultra wealthy (sarcasm) not being able to sell their penthouse.

They can afford to be taxed 50%. We’re talking about 150,000 people in the US who are worth 30 Million or more.

Those 150,000 people own our government.
