I once had a wise economics teacher who was, thankfully, the one who introduced me to the works of Mises and other Austrian Economists. Something he told us, and I'm paraphrasing since it's been a while, is that "all forms of central planning looks good on paper until it's put into practice. Once people see how destructive it really is, they begin to change their minds on it." The way Europeans have reacted to the EU's strict restrictions and regulations drives his point home.

I get that you fantasise that the US and Europe are the world....do you hold that Africa, Asia, Central America, South America, and Australia are not part of the world? Maybe you might want to expand on this essay by including those other places in concerns about the so-called Green agenda.
