The Most Important Line in 'The NeverEnding Story'
It is uttered by the villain Gmork, a servant of the Nothing.
I recently wrote an article on The NeverEnding Story, one of my favorite children’s movies.
It’s a surprisingly deep film, and I’ll share the entire article on here at some point in the future exploring my interpretation of the movie.
But first I’m just going to share with you a new video FEE produced that highlights the most important line in the movie, which is uttered by the villain Gmork, a servant of the Nothing.
Enjoy.
We have that on VHF and hook up the machine annually for a family viewing with my adult children. They get the message. The nihilism fiercely promoted by the woke pawns on the left since that movie's release is now embedded so deeply into the fabric of society today I worry there my be no turning back. That being said, in my small neck of the woods I do have hope. My kids and their friends prove to me daily that a strong up bringing and intelligent conversation with young people does make a difference. They made it through liberal universities with their reasoning skills still intact. We sent them to catholic schools and they have a moral grounding which I believe helped immensely. Sadly many exposed to the woke, post-modern religion throughout their formative years in public schools, will have a tougher go at waking up.
