The FBI Is Flying a Flag Favored by Violent Extremists, according to the FBI's Domestic Terrorism Guide
The FBI is flying a flag it has targeted as a piece of “commonly referenced historical imagery” used by extremists in its Domestic Terrorism Symbols Guide.
I spent a couple days this week writing about Jaiden, the 12-year-old student in Colorado who was suspended over a “Don’t Tread on Me” patch on his backpack. (How ironic, no?)
On Thursday, I wrote an article in The Washington Examiner detailing why the Vanguard School came to see the historic Gadsden flag, a symbol of freedom stretching back the Revolutionary War, a symbol of hate.
It turns out the FBI listed the Gadsden flag as one of the symbols favored by dangerous anti-government groups and violent extremists, alongside such things as the Betsy Ross flag, the Liberty Tree, and Second Amendment references (2A and the Greek phrase “ Molon Labe ”).
There’s an obvious problem with lumping anti-government groups (and anti-authority individuals) with violent militias and domestic terrorists, but what I found most interesting (and hilarious) is that the FBI is guilty of flying one of these dangerous symbols themselves.
If you go to the FBI’s own website (see below), you can see the bureau still flies to this day the Betsy Ross flag as part of its “ceremonial route" on Pennsylvania Avenue.
In other words, the FBI is literally flying a flag it has targeted as a piece of “commonly referenced historical imagery” used by extremists in its Domestic Terrorism Symbols Guide.
The FBI’s targeting of symbols of freedom reminds me of the movie Demolition Man, which depicted a future where the “terrorists” were people like Edgard Friendly (Denis Leary) who took civil liberties and limited government serious.
“I'm the enemy. Cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech and freedom of choice. I'm the kind of guy who wants to sit in a greasy spoon and think, ‘Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecued ribs with the side order of gravy fries?’ I want high cholesterol. I want to eat bacon, butter and buckets of cheese, okay? I want to smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in a non-smoking section.”
Do you know what’s a real symbol of hate?
The rainbow flag representing the LGBLT idiots.
They are a militant hate group comprised of mentally ill violent extremists.
Think I’m wrong? Go out and speak negatively about them. Publicly call them out for what they are. Then see what happens. To you or your business.
