“He didn’t want to make things perfect,” says Rocket. “He just hated things the way they are.”
I’m a huge fan of the Marvel movies, and the Guardians of the Galaxy films represent the best of the franchise. If I’m ranking Marvel movies—which I’ll need to do in a future article—I have Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 somewhere in the top 5, with Guardians 2 on the higher end of the list.
The Guardian movies are great flicks, and they’re especially great family flicks. I don’t just mean they’re good to watch with your family—though they are. “My sacred mission is to create the perfect society,” The High Evolutionary says in voice over.
Our little furry hero Rocket (Bradley Cooper), however, apparently has a history with our villain, and he sees what really drove The High Evolutionary.
