Anthony Fauci, Jimmy Lai, and the Most Overlooked Stories in the World
“He may very well spend the rest of his life in prison,” says Benedict Rogers, the founder of Hong Kong Watch.
In my latest article at The Daily Economy, I explore the life of Jimmy Lai, a billionaire Hong Konger who currently sits in a Chinese prison.
As someone who follows the news and works for an organization dedicated to economic freedom, I feel embarrassed and convicted that I knew so little of Lai, who in 2021 received the Truman-Reagan Medal of Freedom from the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation.
Jimmy is proof that heroes do still in fact walk among us. And I encourage all readers to watch the documentary below about his life and imprisonment. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. (Click here to read my article on it.)
On an unrelated note, it looks like Anthony Fauci might actually be going down.
In my latest article for the Washington Examiner, I note that emails from David Morens appear to implicate Fauci in the effort to avoid FOIA requests, which included deleting documents to avoid oversight.
That’s a crime, and Dr. Fauci will be appearing before Congress next month to answer some very serious questions.
Naturally, media is simply ignoring the story, much like so many people are ignoring Jimmy Lai’s imprisonment.
I truly believe these are two of the most important and overlooked stories in the world today, so please read them and share them with your friends and family.
There is a price to not holding countries like China and people like Dr. Fauci to account for actions that are clearly egregious.
I saw the movie at Freedom Fest…Brilliant; heart-breaking……
So glad you posted this. I watched the entire video on Jimmy Lai. So sad that the man who is the Gandhi of our times is sitting in prison.
