I read Brave New World long ago but remember the Soma holiday and free sex. No one can have babies . No one raises children. Babies r grown in faux uterus’s and all r perfect . But having all alphas did not work so they started contaminating the uterus to create a class system. The book is very disturbing. I felt bad for the wild human who was born and had a moral code . He couldn’t live in that society.

Thanks for sharing your view on this book . I will have to read it again as I don’t remember much about it.

Yes, teaching what to think not how. What to value (social justice) and not question it. What exists (multiple sexes and genders) and what doesn’t (sex binary). The perverse compulsory conditions and incentives described in Weapons of Mass Instruction (Gatto) and Manufacturing Consent (Chomsky) haven’t disappeared from public schools and media but have been amplified via higher ed and social media. Ideological inception via normalized pseudo-science (trans ideology and social justice) and social media censorship (Twitter files) so radical ideas appear natural to young users. The left doesn’t want to call itself out now that it occupies institutional power. Education and media must maintain that power by any means necessary…at the cost of sanity.
