That is probably the essential list for all ... Ayn Rand for me however is always the "not throwing out of the baby with the bath water"challenge, for her total dismissal of altruism as immoral (arguably present in statistically equal proportions to egoism as a result of natural selection and who we are collectively) and only egoism as moral ... that said she is the fundamental pushback against coercive collecivism, and also against culturally imposed altruism ... it is okay to be altruistic if that is your predisposition, and it is equally ok to be egoistic, both are ok provided they are undertaken wthout violence ...
